My Story

Hello there! I'm Rick Redznak—a dynamic individual deeply immersed in the realms of work, teaching, and perpetual learning as the world around us continues to evolve.

For over 15 years, I've thrived in the vibrant landscape of New York City, as a professional Graphic Designer. I've left my creative imprint on a diverse array of brands spanning from consumer products to culinary delights. My forte lies in crafting compelling packaging, dynamic marketing materials, and distinctive visual identities that breathe life and personality into the brands I serve, ultimately contributing to their business growth.

As I remain a perpetual learner. My journey has taken me to institutions like Cooper Union, where I've honed my skills under the guidance of Ken Barber, Martina and online classes with Martina Flor and John Contno. This commitment to continuous learning has provided me with a versatile skill set, encompassing diverse lettering styles, vectoring, unique compositions, and the incorporation of decorative elements.

As my professional narrative unfolds, a new chapter has emerged—teaching at New York City College of Technology for the past six years. I've had the privilege of imparting my wealth of knowledge and experience in Typography, Design to Portfolio building. This experience has not only allowed me to share insights but has also been a platform for cultivating the art of developing individuals and fostering the growth of the younger generations. It has been a truly rewarding aspect of my career, watching students evolve and flourish under my guidance.

Beyond the classroom, I can be seen on Instagram profiles like Victorian Type, Robert Bree, and Ken Barber. In 2023, I was honored with the "Inspirational Mentor" Award for my unwavering commitment to offering support and constructive feedback on Martina Flor's online Academy.
